The trade-off is that the selection quality is lower than Costco's in some cases (such as smartphones and electronics, for example). Friendly staff and amazing deals, with a lot of prices beating Costco, plus an outstanding deli dept more than make up for any shortcomings though and made for a pleasant shopping experience.
The best part is the risk free trial membership, so you have nothing to lose.
